Registration is now open for the ISD Human Research Ethics Committee Meeting

Registration is now open for the 1st Meeting of the Human Research Ethics Committees of the Santos Dumont Institute (ECEP ISD). The event will be held on October 30th and 31st at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS) in Macaíba, Rio Grande do Norte. The program will include lectures, round tables and debates, moderated by representatives of the National Council for Research Ethics (CONEP), members of Research Ethics Committees (CEP) of federal institutes and universities, as well as guest researchers.

The meeting is aimed at CEP members, students, researchers, healthcare professionals, research volunteers, and other interested parties. Although the event will be in-person, it will also be possible to attend remotely.

With the aim of promoting discussions that contribute to the advancement and overcoming of the challenges faced daily by Research Ethics Committees, the meeting will be a space for exchanging experiences and enriching the ethical analysis of research involving human beings, reinforcing the commitment to the protection of research participants in Brazil.
