Natal will host a seminar on Paralympic Modalities; find out how to sign up

The Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPB) has opened registrations for the seminar “Paralympic Modalities – Natal Reference Centers”, which will take place on November 9th and 10th. The event will take place in person at the Santos Dumont Institute, in the rural area of Macaíba, on the 9th, and at the UFRN campus in Natal, on the 10th. Registration is free and can be done through the website Paralympic Education until November 7th.

 

The official opening of the seminar will take place at 8:30 am on November 9th, at the Anita Garibaldi Center for Education in Research and Health (Anita), an ISD unit in Macaíba. The first day of the seminar will include theoretical and practical classes on Paralympic Bocce and Sitting Volleyball. On November 10th, classes will take place at the Physical Education Department of UFRN, in Natal, covering the topics of Paralympic Judo and the fundamentals of Athletics. 

 

To participate in the event, the prerequisite is completion of the course Paralympic Movement: Basic Fundamentals of Sport, also available free of charge at Paralympic Education website. The seminar has a workload of 16 hours and 100 places are initially offered.
