The 2nd Conference of the Care Network for People with Disabilities in Rio Grande do Norte, organized by the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD), continues with open submissions for scientific papers until April 13. The papers can be clinical studies, experience reports and literature reviews, among others, that dialogue with the central theme of the Conference and with the thematic areas of the Care Network for People with Disabilities.
Abstracts must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. (Brasília time) on April 13, via from the event portal, in the “Paper Submissions” tab. It is mandatory that the author responsible for the presentation be registered in the Conference at the time of submission of the paper. Papers without authors registered in the event will not be accepted.
Primary works, such as clinical studies and experience reports, or secondary works, such as literature reviews, of a qualitative or quantitative nature, may be submitted. Abstracts will be evaluated by reviewers who will assign scores based on criteria such as clarity, coherence, relevance and impact on society.
The publication of the approved papers will take place on May 20th, and the presentation is scheduled for June 4th to 6th, during the Conference program. The best papers will be awarded Honorable Mentions at the closing ceremony and all papers presented will have their summaries published in the Proceedings of the event.
The Journey is held in partnership with the State Secretariat of Public Health (Sesap), through the coordination of the Network for People with Disabilities of RN, and takes place on June 4, 5 and 6, at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neurosciences (IIN-ELS), one of the ISD units in Macaíba/RN.
In 2025, the event's theme is “Transforming care: PTS as a path” and is aimed at healthcare professionals and professionals from Specialized Rehabilitation Centers (CERs), public managers and students, with a focus on strengthening the Care Network for People with Disabilities.
