The Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) launched, this Monday (21), a call for applications for a selection process aimed at filling one vacancy for the position of Professor/Researcher. The opportunity is for work in the Postgraduate Program in Neuroengineering (PPGN), at the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS), in Macaíba/RN.
The hiring is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law) regime for a 40-hour work week, in person, Monday to Friday. The offered salary for the position is R$ 14,566.53, in addition to a benefits package that includes health and dental plans, meal vouchers, food vouchers, life insurance, and free transportation between Natal and Macaíba.
To be eligible for the position, candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis, Biomedical Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, Data Science, Computational Mathematics, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence. Knowledge, skills, and experience in the development, implementation, maintenance, and publication of algorithms, software, and technological products are also required.

At the time of registration, applicants must submit the following mandatory documents in a single PDF file: Lattes curriculum, professional resume, doctoral diploma, and a letter of intent with up to 3,000 characters. In addition, candidates must provide three confidential letters of recommendation from recommenders.
The selection process has several stages, including document screening and validation, a technical-behavioral interview, and a technical-behavioral activity. The selection process will be valid for one year, and may be extended for an equal period, according to institutional needs.
