The year in which “Anita” turned 10, marks a record in its history: Anita Garibaldi Health Education and Research Center (CEPS), located in Macaíba (RN), carried out 45,490 consultations in 2018.

The General Director of the Santos Dumont Institute (ISD), Reginaldo Freitas Junior, gives his opinion on this moment at CEPS: “It is a very special place for those who work here and for those who are served here. The growth of 'Anita', as the population has come to call it, fills us with pride and joy. The service has been growing stronger every year, both as a school for health professionals and as a reference in the SUS for the areas in which it operates. The recognition and appreciation of the work developed at CEPS Anita Garibaldi by users is our greatest incentive to continue overcoming challenges and seeking to respond to the social demands of our Region.”

Professionals, undergraduate students, residents and the community in general participated in the action, with the collaboration of Coletivo Aboio.
