ISD at the National Week of Science and Technology 2016
O Santos Dumont Institute (ISD) will promote various activities during the National Science and Technology Week (SNCT), which takes place throughout the country from October 17 to 23. In Rio Grande do Norte, the ISD offers actions in Natal and Macaíba, from the 17th to the 20th of this month, through a notice from the Department of Diffusion and Popularization of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications (MCTIC). No Serrinha Scientific Education Center (BA), activities take place on October 19th and 20th.
Round tables, open-door units, activities at Cientec/UFRN and work from ISD's science education workshops will offer visitors an overview of the work developed by the Institution, in addition to generating knowledge and reflections on the theme of this year's SNCT: “Science feeding Brazil”.
The Santos Dumont Institute has participated in the National Science and Technology Week since 2007, through Science Education Centers (CECs). In the following years, other units also began to offer activities during this week dedicated to popularizing and disseminating science.
