On August 27th, new Junior Scientific Initiation students began their internship at Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (IIN-ELS). They attend high school at Escola Estadual Doutor Severiano, in Macaíba (RN), and demonstrated great enthusiasm for the learning possibilities in the research environment.
On the first day of the internship, they were welcomed by students of the Master's in Neuroengineering and by the Research Coordinator of IIN-ELS, Edgard Morya.
During the nextover the past twelve months, five students will receive scholarships from Junior Scientific Initiation Program – PIBIC Jr /RN, coming from the notice FAPERN SEEC No. 001/2018, in which an IIN-ELS project was contemplated: Hybrid Brain-Machine Interface Device with Neuromodulation.
