The Director General of Santos Dumont Institute (ISD), Reginaldo Freitas Junior, received on December 14th another homage from Macaíba and this time it was the Luiz Cúrcio Marinho Merit 2019. The honor, offered by Fecomércio-RN System in partnership with the Retail Trade Union - Sindcomércio Macaíba, honors businesspeople and representatives of institutions that contribute to the development of Macaíba. Among the 2019 honorees were also businesspeople João Tadeu Ginani It is Redjane da Luz Ribeiro.
In his speech at the Luiz Cúrcio Marinho Merit ceremony, Reginaldo said: “It is a great honor to receive the merit named by someone who was considered a competent administrator and modernizer of the city, who created, among other works, the Pax Clube, a symbol macaibense in memory of Augusto Severo. Because we are going to work, generate jobs and income, contribute to the development of those close to us and project the name of Macaíba in the world, associated with good and good. This is what I see as the meaning of this initiative by Sindcomércio Macaíba and the Câmara de Dirigentes Lojistas de Macaíba, institutions that have repeatedly demonstrated that they share the ideals of economic, social and, above all, human development in our region”.
At another point in his speech, the General Director of ISD also commented: “Today we are proud of the efforts we, with passion, have undertaken to pave the paths of the Macaíba of the future, each one with the strength of their work, the solidity of their values, but above all, the awareness that individual good becomes nothing if it is not capable of contributing to the collective good”, he emphasized, who received the title of Cidadão Macaibense in 2018 (Material HERE).
